ICED PUMPKIN CREAM SPICE LATTE

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Steep teas in 8 oz hot water for 3 minutes.
  2. While tea is steeping stir in sweetener.
  3. Fill cup with 8 oz of ice.
  4. Pour steeped tea over ice.
  5. Top with milk, a dash of cinnamon & enjoy!

DIY Almond Milk Chai Latte

Nothing is cozier than a warm chai latte on a cold winter night. Chai is bursting with all the flavors of the holiday season: cinnamon, clove, cardamom, and the perfect amount of spice.

This latte is absolutely delicious…frothy almond milk & warm cinnamon spices, it’s impossible not to love. Plus, this recipe is quick & easy! Grab some blankets & a book, and have a cozy relaxing teatime.

For this recipe, we recommend using any of the following Green Teahouse Chai Teas:

Caramel Cider Chai 

Vanilla Cream Chai

Masala Chai


INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 tbs chai tea
  • 2 cups unsweetend almond milk
  • 2 tbs honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Warm the almond milk in a saucepan over medium heat. Once the milk begins to simmer, immediately remove from heat.
  2. Add tea to milk and let steep for 3 minutes, then strain out tea leaves.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients to milk & whisk until well combined.
  4. Stir in sweetener & adjust to your liking.
  5. Pour mixture back into saucepan & warm over low heat for about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Transfer mixture into blender & blend for 30 seconds until frothy.
  7. Pour latte into your favorite mug & ENJOY!

Vanilla Chai Matcha Latte

~VANILLA CHAI MATCHA LATTE RECIPE~

Ingredients:

1 TBS Vanilla Cream Chai tea

1/4 TSP Organic Matcha

1.5 TBS honey

1/3 cup milk of choice

Directions

  1. Steep Vanilla Cream Chai in 12 oz of boiling water for 3 minutes.
  2. While tea is steeping sweeten with honey.
  3. After steeping, strain 1 ounce of Vanilla Cream Chai into small bowl & whisk with Matcha until well blended.
  4. Pour rest of Vanilla Cream Chai & the ounce of matcha chai blend into your favorite mug.
  5. Froth 1/3 cup of milk & pour on top of tea.
  6. Garnish with a dash of cinnamon & enjoy!

Spice up a classic cookie recipe with CHAI TEA. The subtle flavor of the ginger, clove, cardamom & black pepper perfectly compliments the cinnamon-sugar & buttery flavors of SNICKERDOODLE COOKIES.

CHAI SNICKERDOODLE COOKIES

Ingredients:

  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1 stick salted butter
  • 2 TBS. Caramel Cider Chai
  • 2-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1-1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 TBS. cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup superfine sugar

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in either double boiler or microwave. Steep Caramel Cider Chai in melted butter for 5 minutes (we recommend steeping for longer for a stronger taste).
  2. After steeping, strain tea from butter. Allow butter to come to room temperature.
  3. In a large bowl sift flour, cream of tartar, baking soda & salt together and set aside.
  4. Beat together butter & sugar in an electric mixer at medium speed for about 2 minutes (or until fluffy).
  5. Add eggs & beat until fully mixed.
  6. Add flour mixture in 1/2 increments, beating until combined. Chill dough for an hour or overnight until it’s firm & cold.
  7. After dough has chilled, preheat oven to 400°F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  8. In a small bowl combine cinnamon & sugar. Form dough into 1-inch balls & roll them in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  9. Space cookies 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Let cookies cool for about 5 minutes on wire cooling rack.
  11. Enjoy!
